clare and mark.

it was my pleasure to capture such a beautifully simple and yet profoundly emotional day. the details and all the joyful effort you put into the day will never be forgotten. these are images i hope you lean on for years to come, to help remind you always of how well you two fit together. you both have the most genuine families and that made the day such a pleasure.

most impressive though was your guests dance skills!  you two passed on getting a few more pictures about mid evening so as to have more time to go break it down on the dance floor. the dancer in me was pleased and reminded me of how you embrace life in the moment. i believe your love for the outdoors, the uncomplicated and the unique path God is laying before you will feed and fuel your love for one another. i know it has made me grow to admire you both even more than ever.

i am so privileged to photograph this wonderful friend in less than three weeks. we went to ocean city, md two weekends ago to celebrate her future as mrs. landis. just look at her, she is beautiful and so exuberant. photographing her special day will be such a treat.

so it may be a little trendy, but i jumped on the bandwagon and bought a lil disposable camera this last weekend while visiting my friend, ang, in new york city. she moved there a little over a month ago for a killer job and is doing so good. we hung out in her neighborhood on the upper east side and had so much fun! here are a few of my favorite pictures from that the camera that made me giggle with every shot i had to advance.

two trends i couldn’t miss: fedora’s and umbrella’s for the sun not the rain.

red hat boy knows his priorities!

my fav: sunday morning brunch

ang’s 12 year old girl cat named george. liked to jump on head while sleeping.
